Welcome to my site! My name is Jon Sutton, and this year I am excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade Science, as well as 8th grade STEM.
This is my 14th year as a professional educator and my 7th year at Beaumont. Before coming to Beaumont, I taught AP Biology and Biology and coached basketball.
I have always had a passion for Science and truly enjoy helping students explore, question, and understand the world around them. Most of all, I love being part of a strong school community and look forward to another great year of learning

My wife, Kathryn , and I have been living in Portland since 2017. We both are originally from Oklahoma. We currently have 2 dogs, 6 chickens , 3 fish and a leopard gecko.
