RGMS Science Department

General information:

We endeavor to constantly improve our cohesive and sequential development of our students’ inquiry skills and knowledge of science. PPS uses a spiraling curriculum model so students will be working on units from each of the three content areas each year at RGMS. This model allows students build on the prior knowledge they gained the previous year as they engage with new topics from the same discipline while making connections to other areas of scientific discipline as they more through the school year. Our goal is to generate scientifically literate young adults who feel comfortable digesting the wealth of information available to them and to foster a relationship with science in which students find the sciences a viable and exciting option for their future studies and careers.
