Pick a food already being used in the home that you want to try and regrow.
Observe what the food looks like when already fully grown and draw a picture of what you see. Talk to your grown up about how it feels, smells, and or tastes.
Take the base of the food scrap and observe the differences. What do you think is going to happen when you add it to water or dirt (depending on which food you chose). Draw a picture of what you see.
Put the scrap in dirt or water and place it in a sunny spot where you can watch it grow.
Check in on your plant every few days and observe the growth. Draw a picture of your plant once a week to show the changes that are happening.
