  • Who is attending this event? Approximately 1,300 classified staff are invited

  • What workshops are going to be offered? A variety of workshops will be offered for everyone from stakeholders across the district and external community partners.

  • Where can I find information about the workshops? On the Workshops page of the website. Browse through the workshop descriptions and select the session you are interested in attending. Click on the meeting link to join the workshop.

  • Do I need to register for the event? Yes, follow the below or watch this video.

        1. Log into pepper.pps.net

        2. Click on ‘PD Calendar’

        3. Select "January"

        4. Select 8:00am Classified Connection 2022

        5. Check the Yellow “Register” icon button to Register.

  • Should I register for the workshops? Registration is not required except the workshops offered by MESD (there is a limited number of participants). Click this link MESD to register for the MESD workshops. You must attend both sessions if you sign up.

  • How do I get my Certificate of Attendance?

        1. Register for the Event. If you have not registered you will not receive a certificate. You must register for the Event in Pepper.

        2. Complete our Feedback Survey to receive the code to mark your attendance and get your certificate.

        3. Certificates are available under Tools on the menu car. To download your certificate, click on the certificate icon.

  • Will the workshops be recorded? Yes, for replay purposes. The link to the replay will be posted on the workshop description after the event site.

  • Will the Keynote Speaker be recorded? No, the keynote will not be recorded

  • How long is the Professional Development event? 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

  • If I need a work device, where can I get one? Speak directly with your supervisor.

  • Will I receive a certificate of attendance? Yes, but you must be registered for the event AND complete the feedback survey to receive your certificate of attendance. Visit the Certificate of Attendance page for more information.

  • Do I need to attend? Yes, this is a required work day. If you are a part-time employee, you will need to work with your supervisor regarding your work schedule on January 28th, 2022.
