Hello...Ms. Diaz here!I grew up on the Southern Oregon Coast in North Bend/Coos Bay. I've lived in Portland for 13 years now. I live just down the road from Vestal in North Tabor. I have 2 kids that I spend all of my time with away from work: Cora (4.5 years old) and Ren (1.5 years old), and my husband (Rayko). We love taking long walks in different Portland neighborhoods, hiking, baking, gardening and going to the Coast!
I started my teaching career as a student teacher at Vestal School in 2011, then began teaching as a 1st grade teacher. Currently, I am an ESL teacher and an Instructional Specialist (Reading). I absolutely love being able to co-teach with all of the classroom teachers, and get to know all of the Vestal Kids; it feels like my second family!
