Welcome to Band at Beaumont. My name is Cynthia Plank, and this will be year 20 for me teaching band! When I am not at school, I am usually outside- either in the garden, exercising, or birding. Indoors I am doing something musical- maybe playing flute or singing in a 20 piece swing band. I love to grow vegetables and flowers, and we also have 3 chickens who provide us with fresh eggs, and two cats. Though my main instrument is flute, I have also performed extensively on bass, percussion, trombone and vocals. When it's safe to travel, we like to go to Hawaii to see our grand-daughter Lulu.

I am looking forward to meeting you and your student, and making great music together!
