Meet Mr. Kauzer

Hello!

My name is Case Kauzer and my pronouns are he/him. I teach reading and math intervention I have been teaching middle school since 2010. This is my fourth year teaching at Beaumont and am thrilled to get to learn together with students again this year.

My Family

My wife and I live in Portland with our two kids, Emmett and Theo, and our dog Ruby.

My Education

I went to college at UC Santa Cruz in California. I majored in Environmental Studies. Banana slugs can be found all over campus (watch your step!) which explains our mascot Sammy Slug.
I interned at Natural Bridges State Park where I fell in love with teaching.
In addition to my degree in Environmental Studies, I have an MS in Science Education.

My Hobbies

I love riding a bike. Whether it's picking up groceries or riding from Portland to Pacific City, I always feel like the day is a little bit better when I can be on two wheels.
I also love rooting for the Timbers and the San Francisco Giants.
