Historical Argumentative Essay
Choose a topic from the Progressive Era. You must make a statement about a person or event concerning that topic that you are able to defend in a two page (typed) essay. You will need to give complete and accurate historical context that provides evidence for your opinion.
The more sources you utilize the stronger your argument will be. Your evidence needs to be relevant, specific and detailed. You will be required to give proper credit when citing the opinion of another author.
We will spend one class doing research for your essay and one class to organize your data and write a rough draft. The final copy will be due the week of February 10.
