The Harriet Tubman Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association provides a safe space for our collective communities to come together and work together. The HTMS PTSA will be culturally responsive and will not move forward unless we have diverse representation at our table.

Update 10/15/2020 - Our first PTSA meeting was a success! Ms. Krauel joined us and talked about the beautification project. We also had our treasury report and a call out to folks to join committees or action groups. The video is posted above. However, the recording started late... Our apologies. :( But! Our elections are coming up at our next meeting and we will reach out to folks who are interested in a position. If you are interested in connecting to the PTSA or having a leadership role. Please let us know! We are especailly in need of folks that represent our diverse school. This means BIPOC folks need to be included in our PTSA in order for our school to have a well rounded voice. Next PTSA meeting will be November 12!
Update 9/24/2020 - Our PTSA meeting is moved to October the 8th at 6pm. We will discuss our budget (There is money available to help folks, and to provide support for programming) and talk about open positions in the PTSA. We need more community involvement, especially representatives from Black and Brown family members of HTMS. All of our voices must be heard and this is an opportunity to be heard. We will also talk about forming committees and action projects to support HTMS. Principal Mair will also join us for this meeting!
