Welcome to Kindergarten!
Starting elementary school is a very exciting time in a young child’s life. It can also be quite scary attending a new school, making new friends and being away from home for long periods of time. My goal is to help your child learn and grow while having lots of fun, too! In this class, we are a small community of teammates that help and accept one another. I believe that valuable learning occurs when children feel comfortable and happy in their classroom. I look forward to getting to know your child and the support system that surrounds them. Everyone has individual needs and I am dedicated to your child’s individual success!

About me
My name is Stephanie Davis but the students call me Mrs. Davis. I am very excited to be your child’s teacher! This will be my 10th year teaching at the Elementary level, my 4th year at Glencoe and 7th year in PPS. I have had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in both general and special ed which has enabled me to learn and grow as an educator. I am thrilled to be part of the Glencoe community and look forward to working with you and your children!
I have moved around a lot and am now setting down roots in Portland with my husband, son, daughter and puppy, which is fabulous! I grew up in San Francisco and I loved living in a big city, near the ocean! I enjoy exploring the PNW, spending time with family and traveling, whenever we can!
