Who I am:
I'm Jenna Morano (she/her), the comprehensive school psychologist at Harrison Park Middle School. This is my first year at HP and my 7th year as a school psychologist. I am Mexican American and was born and raised in Northern California. I am a first-generation college graduate (Go Bears! Go Ducks!) and started my career in education as a 1st grade teacher in the Bay Area before relocating to Oregon for graduate school. In my free time I love hiking with my family and trying new restaurants.
What I do:
I support students with their learning, behavior, and social emotional skills so they can do their best in school. I can provide individual counseling services, social skills groups, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups. I love working with families, teachers, and students and hope that I can help make school a more welcoming and accessible place for all our diverse learners.
