Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program- With a focus on apprenticeship, Oregon Tradeswomen’s Pathways to Success program offers a Trades and Apprenticeship Career Class (TACC), a 192-hour apprenticeship and employment readiness training program to prepare adult job-seekers for a career in the skilled construction trades.
Pacific Northwest Carpenters Institute (PNCI)
PNCI provides apprenticeship and journeyman skill advancement training for many construction trades including:
-Carpenters
-Millwrights
-Pile Drivers
-Interior/Exterior Specialists
-Scaffold Erectors
-Drywall Finisher (Taper)
-Trade Show exhibition workers
POIC's 12-week program prepares adults for careers in construction and the trades.Trainees are PAID during this hands-on learning experience: classroom instruction, industry-recognized certifications, career exploration, and planning.
Portland Youth Builders- Build Program
Bridge provides a direct path to employment in the construction industry. Over just nine weeks, Bridge students receive the training and support they need to enter an apprenticeship program and start their construction careers.
Apprentices work full-time and attend class part-time.
Our apprentices get high-quality on-the-job training under a journeyperson’s supervision and receive hands-on classroom and lab/shop instruction from experienced sheet metal workers.
