Incoming 9th Grade Students:
July 1 - August 1, 2024
The goal for 9th-grade students over the summer is to build relationships with other Early College High School (ECHS) students and staff. We will work to fill any language arts and mathematics gaps they may have and introduce them to the high school gateway course. Main topics in the summer will include:
Introduction to Student Success
Math Accuplacer Prep
Writing and Reading Accuplacer Prep
Incoming 10th Grade Students:
July 1 - August 1, 2024
The goal for 10th-grade students over the summer is to be prepared the Accuplacer exam on their first try. Students will complete review and practice on math, writing, and reading concepts and test strategies. Main topics in the summer will include:

Incoming 11th Grade Students:
July 1 - August 1, 2024
The 11th-grade students will be enrolled in a concurrent College Algebra (MATH122) with an Atlantic Cape professor. Students that previously took this course will be enrolled in World Myths and Legends (PHIL105) with a high school teacher.
Incoming 12th Grade Students:
July 1 - August 1, 2024
Students entering their final year of high school are preparing for graduation from high school and college in the spring. 12th-grade students will focus this summer on preparations for college courses, finding internships, and the college course World Myths and Legends.
