The Department of Energy Office of Fusion Energy Science (DoE-FES) is charging the community to conduct a Stellarator Technology and Advanced Research Strategies Workshop (STARS Workshop). Novimir A. Pablant (PPPL, Chair) and Adelle Wright (UW-Madison, Co-chair) are working with DoE-FES Program Manager Matthew Lanctot to organize and execute the workshop. This workshop will be conducted over four virtual participation sessions. We are also exploring the potential of holding additional hybrid/in-person Town Hall meetings. We will be seeking input and participation from the entire US fusion community including Universities, National Labs and Private Industry. As part of this activity, we will also be seeking input via written submissions.
