Manager, Office of Strategy Management - Central Bank Of Belize
Dr. Smiling-Craig joined the Central Bank of Belize thirty-four years ago and has performed in several senior positions over her tenure. She currently manages the Office of Strategy Management and is the lead on the National Financial Inclusion (NFI) Project. She is responsible for performing strategy governance, overseeing and executing the Bank’s operational and strategic programs and projects, developing and monitoring the enterprise risk management program, managing the Bank’s communication media/public relations strategy, and leading the administration and execution of the NFI actions and initiatives. Dr. Smiling-Craig holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Hood College, Maryland, and a Doctorate in Organizational and Higher Education Leadership (Hons.) from Nova Southeastern University, Florida. She also lectures at Galen University and has served on the Board of Directors of the Young Women’s Christian Association, Belize, for fourteen years, and as President for three consecutive terms.
Dr. Smiling-Craig is married to Dr. Peter Craig, and they are the parents of three children: Jordan, Jaylan, and Justyn.
