‘Together Transforming Education 2.0’, an International Colloquium on Education and Social Sciences, is a programme jointly organized by the District Education Offices of Tuaran and Kota Kinabalu. The two District Education offices perpetually aspire to preserve and cultivate best practices among the school teachers in the Districts of Tuaran and Kota Kinabalu through the practice of Professional Learning Community (PLC). The programme gives room and opportunity to all the educators in Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu and beyond, to share their innovations, especially the school management and pedagogical innovations in this platform. Thus, it is hoped that the online sharing of professional best practices will be able to help empower and strengthen the quality of education in Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu and elsewhere.

For Day 1 (21st December 2020), there are 2 Forums followed by parallel sharing sessions about school administration and co-curriculum. For Day 2 (22nd December 2020), there is a Professional Talk in the morning, followed by parallel sharing sessions about academic and student affairs. A Guest sharing session will be the last programme before the closing and prize giving ceremony.

The aim of the Colloquium is to give a space and chance to all the educators to exchange their knowledge, skills and experiences regarding the teaching processes, classroom-based assessments, educational administrations and the outcomes of their innovations. At the same time, the programme helps to create a digital platform for all the educators to toss ideas and thoughts about the education system in the new normal. In addition, educators can prepare themselves to respond to all the challenges in their teaching profession, especially the future new normal in education resulted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
