The Spanish Club allows members to get involved in student activities,
while learning more about Spanish and other cultures around the world !
Mission / Purpose :
provide opportunities to practice speaking & listening in Spanish
increase student awareness & understanding of other world languages, cultures, & traditions
learn to become global citizens
Membership :
Any student in grades 9-12 in good academic standing (per PPHS handbook) enrolled in Spanish
(OR has passed at least 1 yr) is welcome to join the Spanish Club.
Commitment : ALL members are expected to participate in general meetings & special events in order to attend the annual lunch outing.
OFFICERS : Officers must be FULL-time students, sophomore or above, in GOOD academic standing.
Officers are elected by a majority vote and shall serve for a term of one year. OFFICERS are expected to :
act as leaders to facilitate regular monthly meetings.
take attendance and distribute snacks
meet 1x month between regular meetings to collaborate, plan & organize
budget the items that will need to be purchased.
