We greatly appreciate your commitment to Ohio's astute young writers. At Power of the Pen tournaments, students practice their writing skills and create brilliant works worthy of applause.
The highest award a young writer can receive is publication in the Book of Winners. Only writers whose work receives a Platinum Pen Award are published. Platinum Pen Award winners are selected at the District, Regional, and State levels. Out of thousands of pieces of writing produced annually, about 100 are published.

The Winners of 2025 contains 154 pieces of excellent student writing, and 134 students are featured. To check if your student is featured, click the cover image to the left to view an index of students. Alternatively, click here to find the index on our website.
Completing Payment
Before completing payment, please read our Instructions for Purchasing section on our homepage.
Click the corresponding quantity link to be routed to the Clover Secure Web Checkout Portal, be sure you click the appropriate link for the quantity you wish to purchase.
You will be prompted to enter Customer Information (first and last name, email address, shipping address) and Card Information (card number, expiration date "MM/YY," security code "CVV," and zip code).

Order Summary for 2025
Due to the increased size of the book, featuring more than 150 stories and more than 130 students, the price of the The Winners of 2025 has increased to $35.00 per unit.
The shipping fee for one unit is $5.00; $8.00 for multiple units.
Ohio's sales tax (6.5% rate) is applied to the combined price of the unit and shipping fee (ex: $2.60 tax for one unit)
The final total of one copy of the 2025 edition of the Book of Winners publication is priced at $42.60.
