The deadline to purchase or refund residence hall rooms is Sunday, May 3, 2026.
Residence Hall Room options are priced by person, not by room. Please register the total number of guests, do not register the total number of rooms. Room rates per guest are:
$115 per person for single occupancy
$90 per person for double occupancy
Please note:
*An adult cannot room with a child, unless the adult is the parent or guardian of that child. All students must have an adult chaperone in the residence halls, who will be responsible for students' safety and behavior.
After completing your residence hall room purchase, please complete the required 2026 State Tournament Guest Information Google form below to add your guest information.

Important Information for Your Residence Hall Experience
Students shall be paired with other same sex students. Please designate on the Guest Information Google form who your student wishes to room with.
Students must room with their parents, or with same-sex students if purchasing rooms for multiple students. Adults cannot room with students unless they are the student's designated legal guardian.
Linens are not provided: you must bring your own pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels.
Beds are Twin XL; most beds, if not all, are bunkbeds.
There will be private bathrooms in one of the residence halls. In the other residence hall, restrooms will be same-sex on each floor in the residence halls. Restroom signage will be posted to indicate where you can find your restrooms in your residence hall. Example: 1st floor - female restrooms, 2nd floor - male restrooms, etc.
Meals are included in the room fee (Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast and lunch). You do not need to purchase additional meal packages.
Sunday activities include two sessions of a creative writing workshop in the afternoon, book signing, and dance.
**Please submit any specific requests for accommodations to info@powerofthepen.org or include this information in the required Guest Information Google form; we will do our best to make accommodations based on availability and resources.

All purchases for residence hall rooms are by the individual. If you purchase one guest for a double room, please notate who they plan to room with. This option is available for instances in which student runners are volunteering at the tournament but are not included on the team registration form, but still plan to room with their teammates.
*By purchasing a residence hall room, you will not need to purchase additional meal tickets for any residence hall guests.*
If you do not see a button for a quantity of guests you wish to purchase, please email info@powerofthepen.org and we will send you a unique link for your desired number of guests.

The buttons below designate purchases for single rooms. If you purchase 2 guests, each guest will receive 1 single room.
The price per individual in a single room is $115.
Double Room

The buttons below designate purchases for double rooms. If you purchase 1 guest, they will receive a double room with a roommate.
The price per individual in a double room is $90.
