Hi everybody!
We are excited to begin our year with our 2021 graduates!
We'll start the year with distance learning. I know that this will be fun and successful!
8:25 AM Every morning, students will log on to Zoom to start their day together. They will access their Google Classroom Assignments for further instructions. They will prepare their workspace with all their materials and settle in for their classes.
9:00-10:00 AM Students will have math with their class. We will be using EngageNy mathbooks and IXL online.
10:15-11:15 AM Students will have ELA with Ms. Muckelroy.
11:15 11:30 AM Students will prepare materials for their afternoon classes.
12:00-12:30 PM Students will begin complete Independent work for Math.
12:30-1:00 PM Students will log in to Zoom for Science assignments.
1:00- 1:30 PM Students will log in to Ms. Muckelroy's Zoom for History assignments.
1:30-3:30 Students will have small groupings to complete work for all subjects. In addition, they will have electives (drama or art (TBD) ) and PE during this time.
As you can see, their days will be full and enriching.
We look forward to getting to know everyone and charging ahead to high school next year.

Check Ms. Muckelroy’s Google Classroom daily for reading, history and writing assignments. Google Classroom code: mby7xvr There will be daily assignments to submit based on their book, Chains. There will be a writing unit that the student will need to log onto NEWSELA - https://newsela.com The students will use their school gmail accounts to access this website for articles that will be used for an essay they will write.
No Red Ink - https://www.noredink.com/learn/home This website will include grammar lessons as well as essay help for the students as they begin to draft and submit essays.
Vocabulary.com - There will be weekly vocabulary lessons and activities to complete on this website based on lists of words I will assign.
