CURRENT SITUATION: HIGH LEVELS OF POLLUTANT EMISSIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON CLIMATE CHANGE
According to data from the GLOBAL CARBON PROJECT, in 2019 around 37,000 million tons of CO2 were produced. These levels were reached with 1,400 million vehicles in the world. Vehicles equipped with combustion engines are expected to grow up to 2,800 million by 2036.
