Spanish Teacher
Profe Egan was born in Mexico City, Mexico and is of Costa Rican heritage. She is an RBHS Alumni and she also graduated from San Diego State University with her degree in Spanish Education.
Profe Egan holds a philosophy that learning should be fun, and she brings that positive energy into all of her classes!
Profe Egan has three sons at home: Daniel, Nicholas, and Ben. In her free time she loves staying active by partaking in barre classes and running.
French Teacher
Mademoiselle Gallo grew up in San Diego and went to Westview High School. She went to UCSD for a BA in French Literature and M.Ed. in Education.
For a year she studied abroad in Bordeaux, France where she ate many pastries and explored several countries. Mademoiselle Gallo is also half Danish and enjoys speaking Danish and Spanish in addition to French. She loves drawing, her cat Mew, and movies.
Spanish Teacher
Profe Ludwig brings her language learning experience from Argentina and Spain. She has been a camp counselor, world traveler, and has taught English to students in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She has a BA from the University of San Diego and a she completed her Masters Degree in Barcelona, Spain.
Profe Ludwig also earned a TESL Certificate from San Diego State University-California State University.
German Teacher
Frau Knoy grew up in Hannover, Germany. She moved to the United States to attend college. She has her Bacherlor's of Arts degree in English. She holds two Master's of Arts degrees. Her first MA is in ESL from Northern Arizona University and her second MA in Linguistics from the University of Victoria, Canada. Frau Knoy enjoys the outdoors: camping, running, hiking and gardening.
Spanish Teacher
Profe Martín was a mortgage banker, a dolphin trainer at Sea World, and a private tutor before becoming a teacher. He loves to travel and has been fortunate to live in Australia, Czech Republic, and Spain.Through his Zen approach to learning Spanish Profe Martín has been expertly preparing students to succeed. Mr. Martín received his BA from UCSD in 1997 with a pre-med minor and is currently working toward a MA in Educational Leadership. Sr. Martín is multi-faceted as he is credentialed to teach: Science, Spanish, Social Science, and Mathematics. Mr. Martín, an avid surfer, can be found among the waves at his favorite surf spot. A class with Sr. Martín is a way for students to meditate on the Tao of Spanish. Señor makes sure that students have the tools to learn language as well as have the tools to live life to its fullest.

Profe Neldon has a passion for culture. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in teaching. She studied at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico and has been fortunate to spend extended periods of time experiencing the cultures of Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia. Her focus is promoting a love of language, travel, and helping students maintain a healthy balance in life.
Spanish Teacher
Profe Rizzo has been a Bronco since 1991. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language from San Diego State and a Master of Arts in Education from Chapman University. Profe Rizzo learned her Spanish as a high school exchange student in the Basque Region of Spain. She also studied a year in college in San Sebastian, Spain and lived in Bilbao with her children for eight months on sabbatical. In addition to living in the the Basque Region of Spain, she was also a Fulbright teacher in Bucaramanga, Colombia for a year. Ask Profe if you ever have an interest in traveling abroad. When not in the classroom, Profe enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends and volunteering to help feed the Food Insecure.
She is the mother of 3 RBHS graduates: Patxi 2018, Nikolas 2019, and Amaia 2020.
Profe is the Fight Against Hunger Advisor and currently the World Language Department Chair

Profe Sevilla grew up in Madrid, Spain. She has an undergraduate degree in Philology (Language structure, history, and linguistics), has a Master's of Arts Degree in Education and her California teaching credential is in Spanish. She has been teaching at RBHS since 2007. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and five-year-old daughter.
