Teaching Integrated Math Online
10pts TLC Number 2469-03355
Facilitator: T. Jackson
If you attended the optional training in the summer for CPM breakout rooms you can sign up for Teaching Integrated Math Online. If you didn't, I have the videos recorded for you to watch if you still want to take this TLC (not ideal, but is still beneficial.) We have just a few additional meetings where we will share best online Zoom practices and online tools and structures that increase engagement. You don't have to be a current Integrated Math teacher to take this one, but it does use some of the strategies from CPM. I combined this Zoom one with one at the request of Beth.
Desmos for Distance Secondary Math (Same as Spring 2020)
5pts TLC Number 2470-03356
3 meetings (choice between live Zoom or watching videos)
Facilitator: T. Jackson
Includes learning how to use and even start building Desmos Activities. These are highly engaging and interactive ways to teach students. Students can sketch, write equations and graph. This is by far my favorite online tool.
CPM Teaching Practices for Online Math Classroom for New Teachers (or New Course)

Number 2468-03355
Facilitator: T. Jackson (mostly through CPM Professional Learning Platform though.)
This goes along with the phase 1 virtual training sessions. If you attended training sessions 1-6 you can register for this TLC (you will need to register for session 7,8,9,10 follow ups.) If you did not, again I have the videos (while not as good, they are still beneficial, and you can still take the TLC- you will need to register for synchronous, but flexible sessions 7,8,9,10 live and complete the asynchronous instructional and content modules.) Since this is delivered and modeled in a virtual setting, this is open to any interested teacher as it is definitely different than our original phase one training.
