Complete the course selection process for the school that is listed in your student Synergy account. This way schools can see your choices once the IDT is approved and to help schools with their record keeping. The IDT window closes March 31st. You can find more information here.
Pathways do not begin until high school. Some of our elective options are similar to pathways you may see in high school. For 6th graders the elective options we have are an Exploratory Wheel (Art Focus or Technology Focus), Chorus, Orchestra (three levels), and Beginning Band.
We recommend that students change out of their PE clothes and not wear them all day. Students will have an assigned locker in the locker room to keep their clothes and extra shoes.
Yes, we will have New Student Orientation before the start of the school year. We will send out communication in August.
Yes, the in-person registration is a week or so before school starts. Students are given their class schedule, pick up textbooks, have a school picture for the yearbook taken, and are able to purchase school related items (PE Clothes, ASB Card, Yearbook).
A “Raider Reminder” (school planner) will be given to each student during registration. This is the student’s school planner for the student to use. The school rules and information about school are included in the Raider Reminder.
Our After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program is held each school day on campus before and after school. Space is limited and registration is required. Thanks to a state-funded grant, this program is provided at no cost to families; however, participation in ASES does involve specific attendance requirements.

Homework Help: On-campus spaces are open for ASES students to work on homework and receive tutoring support from staff. Both rooms provide access to computers and school textbooks.
Sports: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, Wrestling, Cheer, Color Guard, and more!
Arts: Mosaics, Arts and Crafts, Dance, Karaoke, Anime' Culture, Cooking, etc.

Priority shall go to pupils who are identified by the program as homeless youth, as defined by the federal McKinney - Vento homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. Sec. 11434a), at the time that they apply or at any time during the school year, and to pupils who are identified by the program as being in foster care. Second priority for enrollment will be given to students who can attend the full day every day.

When it comes to our students, safety is our #1 priority. One important way you can help with safety is to help make our parking lot and surrounding streets as safe as possible.
Drop Off: the closer to 8:00am the more traffic getting onto Oviedo Way. Wednesdays are Late Start Days, 9:00am
Make arrangements to pick up your child at the end of school day; ASES by 6pm.
Students are not allowed to be on campus after dismissal, unless in a supervised activity after school (i.e. - ASES program, Power Hour, or Clubs).
