Participants:
This four week training is designed for research staff who work on randomized evaluations led by J-PAL and IPA researchers. We welcome staff from our network of partner research organizations (for example A2J Lab, Cal Policy Labs, CEGA, CEPR, CERP, E2E, EPoD, EPIC, Evidence Action, IFMR LEAD, IPA, LEO, Urban Labs, etc.). These organizations are considered part of the broader J-PAL/IPA network and granted in-network pricing for the course.
Registration is open to participants from external organizations as well, but please note there may be capacity constraints and in-network participants are granted priority.
Learning Gains:
Please visit this link for the full course description.
Price:
The training fee ranges from $800 to $1,100 for J-PAL partner organizations and affiliate network staff; and $1,000 to $1,300 for external attendees.
Prices are tiered based on:
Whether the participant is located in a high income versus low/middle income country
J-PAL, IPA, or other partner organizations versus external registrants
Early registration
See "Training Fee & Billing" for more information.
High income and low/middle income countries are determined by the country where the participant works, not the project location (if they differ). For reference, please see: World Bank country income categories.
If you are unsure whether you work for a J-PAL partner organization, or have any other questions about the training fees for your staff, please contact Jessica Sashihara at jsashihara@povertyactionlab.org.
Prices include all training materials. Billing information will be collected in the registration form. The billing contact should receive an invoice within a week of registration, and we ask that invoices be paid within 10 business days of the invoice issuance date.
