A presentation will be made to the Board of Education on February 19, 2025 dictating the results of the demographic study, the Child Safety Zones, and the reconfiguration proposal. At this time, the Board will be asked to vote on the approval of the elementary reconfiguration.
The district has submitted a request for the grade reconfiguration from the State Education Department.
In order to provide transportation, the board of education is adding two propositions to the May 20, 2025 vote. These propositions include:
Proposition #1: 2025-2026 Budget Vote
Proposition #2: Transportation for students in grades PreK-5 living more than .5 miles from school
Proposition #3: Child Safety Zones
A 4th proposition is also proposed for a $5 Capital Reserve Expenditure, separate from the reconfiguration.
