How does this affect me?
Even though we are constantly searching the web, posting photos, videos, and following others, we don't normally stop and think about how our actions in our digital life can actually affect our real lives. The truth is, your digital footprint can have a profound affect on you as a student, a person, and as a professional. If you apply for a job, to college or trade school, or enlist in the armed forces your digital footprint will be searched. This means that you need to be aware of what you are posting and make wise decisions about what you post before you post it.
