Try out writing a video game style song using the sound effects below:

• click play to listen to Mrs. Kruckman's video game style school song

• clear the staff with the clear button at the bottom so you can write your own

•  drag and drop the sound effect icons on the top  to the staff.  

• The boxes from left to right stand for one beat

 if you want a quarter note (TA) put one picture in the box 

if you want faster sounds : 

eighth notes (Ti Ti)  put two pictures in the box  

sixteenth notes (tika tika) put four pictures in the box 

An empty box is a rest or can stand for the second part of a half note (TA-AH)

• The higher on the staff, the higher the pitch.
