The local newspaper had articles featuring selected "Member of the Month" FFA members. This article is from January 1958. Featured was Donald Kerr. 

FFA members participated in the Reporter's Scrapbook Contest. This Scrap Book is from 1957-58. The Reporter during this time was Frank Wittenberger.

When voting, members used paper ballots to cast votes. Pictured as a ballot from their officer elections. 

Members worked in the Concession Stand at the Big 4 Fair in 1957.  The Big 4 Fair serves the counties of Allamakee, Clayton, Winneshiek, and Fayette. 

The Postville FFA chapter was featured very frequently in the local newspaper. Beside is an article highlighting members on their acheivements. 

Junior Officers are assistants to the Chapter Officers. Usually they were Freshman and Sophomore members. If partipating in Conduct of Meetings you are automatically a Junior Officer. Pictured is the Junior Reporter. 

FFA week was approved in the state of Iowa for the week of February 22, to March 1st 1958 by the governer of Iowa, Herschel C. Loveless.

The Postville FFA had its 25th Anniversary in 1957. They celebrated by having a Parent and Son Banquet on April 30th, 1957.

Members traveled to Mason City Brick & Tile Company as a field trip.
