Welcome to Your Chromebook Hub!

This Hub is intended to support your transition from MacBook Air to the CTL Chromebook Plus (PX141GXT) device, part of PPS's 5-year Strategic Technology Replacement Plan.  This initiative is designed to provide you with reliable, high-performing hardware and a predictable 3–4 year replacement cycle, while optimizing Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI) grant funding.

The hub is customized for PPS staff and contains the relevant resources you will need, from "getting started" to "diving deep" into teaching and learning. The transition to Chromebook Plus offers improved instructional alignment. The Hub includes support for Class tools, which allows for intentional use of technology while supporting digital classroom management and focused learning. Using the same operating system as your students will be game-changing, as you will have the knowledge and Chromebook language to support them in accessing their learning and integrating it into instruction.

Your middle school's Chrome-bassadors are primed to help and are available to support you through December 2025. Seek them out while you can and return to the Hub frequently, as it is a work in progress, and new resources will be added.
