Baseline testing allows athletes to have a standard baseline of how their brain responds to difficult questions. When testing for a concussions, retaking the baseline test will show any differences in the pre-season test. These test are only effective if the first test is taken before the season to allow for a comparison to the results from when possible concussion occurred.
