Are you considering tutoring and wondering where to begin?
Here is an overview about what tutoring could look like for you and how to start tutoring. (yes, it can look different for everyone)
A community college classroom (paid certified teacher) 25-30 students - 10 week sessions, most classes are 2 times a week for 3 hours- Mornings from 9-11:50am or Evenings from 6:30-9:15pm. Teachers and students love having volunteers in these classrooms!!! You are the eyes at the back of the class for teachers, and you can help individual students based on the lesson the teacher gives each session.
