Senior Portraits

All Seniors are required to use Art Rich for their senior portraits. Art Rich will be taking senior portraits at PHS on the following dates, or by appointment at their Southington Studio. The Studio Session Deadline is August 31st

Portland July Date: 7/11 - Basic and Deluxe

Portland September Date: 9/4 - Yearbook Plus and Yearbook Only

When prompted, the USERNAME will be PORT + the STUDENT’S STUDENT ID (example: PORT12345) and the PASSWORD will be the STUDENT’S LAST NAME.

All yearbook photos must be taken and chosen by 11/10/2025.

If you don’t choose a yearbook photo by 11/10/2025 then the studio will choose one for you.

Yearbook Senior Portraits

Art Rich offers one free portrait for seniors in the yearbook. If you opt for this free session, the yearbook staff will receive the picture digitally. You will not have the option to choose.

Start planning on an appropriate senior quote. All Seniors will receive one free quote in the portrait section.

Basic

10 Minutes

Our at-school sessions provide convenient senior yearbook images all done right at your school. With the Basic session, students will receive proofs via email and they can select their yearbook image and also order from any proof online. The Basic session includes 8-10 total poses.

No outfit changes for this session.
You will receive an email within 2 weeks of the session from The Image Connection containing your gallery code and personal pin to choose their yearbook photo and order from this session if you choose to.

Deluxe

20 Minutes

Our at-school sessions provide convenient senior yearbook images all done right at your school. With the Deluxe session, students will receive proofs via email and they can select their yearbook image and also order from any proof online. The Deluxe session includes 10-15 total poses. Check our Seniors page for when we will be photographing at your school and to schedule your appointment. Come to our studio for a full Senior Session experience!!

Yearbook Plus

10 Minutes

The Yearbook Plus session includes 5-6 formal poses for the yearbook. With the Yearbook Plus session, students will receive proofs via email and they can select their yearbook image and also order from any proof online.

Yearbook Only

5 Minutes

The Yearbook Only session is one head and shoulder pose taken for the yearbook only. There are no proofs or retouching available with the Yearbook Only session.
This is only offered in school in September only

When booking please go to our website www.artrichphotography.com, click Book an Appointment, in the drop down menu find Portland High School and select Free Yearbook Session or Basic Session.

There is NO option for retakes with September date. if your yearbook photo is not selected by the deadline stated online, the studio has permission to STUDIO PICK the yearbook photo. Any person who needs extensive retouching (braces removal, stray hair, etc.) must choose a date in July or August.
Portland High School has selected Art Rich Photography to be the official photographer for student portraits in the yearbook for 2024-2025 school year.
All yearbook photos must be taken and chosen by 11/1/2024.
If you don’t choose a yearbook photo by 11/1/2024 then the studio will choose one for you.

Portland High School Dress Code:

Girls: Please appear neat wearing a dark solid long sleeve shirt (absolutely no cleavage or undergarments revealing). Please no off the shoulder tops. Please avoid any makeup bronzers or highlighters. We suggest using some face powder to avoid any shine that may occur in the photos.

Boys: Please appear neat wearing a jacket & tie, dark solid shirt & tie, or a dark solid shirt.

Please NO T-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, or sweatshirts!

Hair is your responsibility! (Photographers Do Not fix hair or clothing)

Glasses: We try our best to photograph you with your glasses and avoid glass glare, however we recommend alternative options such as wearing empty frames or contacts. This recommendation is to help you avoid any extra retouching costs.

Studio Sessions

These are extended sessions at Art Rich Photography only. Yearbook photos and casual photos will be taken. Please see the session guide for details on the sessions offered at the studio. To view the options, please click on "seniors" then pick Traditional, Classic, Ultimate or Friends. These are only offered at the studio and you must call the studio to make an appointment. Please call the studio for more information, spaces are extremely limited, sessions are on a first-come-first-served basis.
