Candidates Information

Juniors and Seniors who have at least a 3.75 weighted grade point average (not rounded) (Class of 2026 has a 3.5 GPA Requirement), no more than one final grade of less than C-, and no F’s are academically eligible for admission to NHS. At the beginning of the first quarter, GPAs will be calculated, and all qualified candidates will be notified of their eligibility, the procedure for applying, and the requirements for acceptance. Applicants must fill out an application, submit an essay, and document community service hours (24 hours for seniors, 20 hours for juniors) and leadership roles (Three for seniors, two for juniors). After the deadline for application submission, the NHS faculty council will review the materials and select candidates who meet all requirements and the minimum rubric score. Selection is by a majority vote.
