Leslie Connor is Coming!
February 9, 2024
We are thrilled to be hosting author Leslie Connor for a presentation and a question and answer session during school on Friday, February 9, 2024! She is author to a number of award-winning middle grade novels including two ALA Schneider Family Book Award winners, Waiting for Normal and The Truth as Told by Mason Buttle, which was also selected as a National Book Award finalist, and all sixth grade students are currently reading as a read-aloud in class. Her other books include All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. Cook, Crunch, and A Home for Goddesses and Dogs. We have borrowed some additional copies of her books in the BIS library for students to read before her visit, if they are interested!
Brownstone has also partnered with R.J. Julia Bookstore in Middletown to offer copies of her books for purchase. Please use this link to order if you are interested: https://www.wesleyanrjjulia.com/brownstone-intermediate.asp
All orders that are placed before this Friday, February 2, should be available for Ms. Connor to sign during her visit to BIS!
To learn more about her, you can visit her online at www.leslieconnor.com.
