This I Believe is an international project engaging people in writing, sharing, and discussing the core values and beliefs that guide their daily lives. These short statements of belief, written by the famous and the unknown, have been featured in weekly broadcasts on public radio. Students will have an opportunity to submit their work for a chance to be selected and featured on air.
On May 10, 1933, German students under the Nazi regime burned tens of thousands of books nationwide. These book burnings marked the beginning of a period of extensive censorship and control of culture in Adolf Hitler's escalating reign of terror.
