The University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems require students to complete a minimum of (15) one- year-long courses—known as the “A–G” subject requirements—in the areas listed below to be considered for admission. All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. Additional coursework beyond the minimum is strongly recommended to strengthen a student’s application.
