About Mrs. Foster

    Welcome to Mrs. Foster's Math Class! I am very excited to be your math teacher. This is my 19th year of teaching math in a middle school, but my 13th in Portage Public Schools. I know that this year is going to be challenging, but I still believe that we can have a great year!

    Here is a little bit about myself, I have two children, Drew and Erica. Drew graduated from The Ohio State University and Erica is a senior at Miami University. When I do have free time I enjoy reading, running, movies, and hanging out with friends.  Although I did complete a half marathon before, I now limit my running to 5k's. My favorite genre is mystery. I always enjoy trying to figure it out before the end. Running on the treadmill allows me to accomplish two of my favorite things at once, running and movies. I reserve those special occasions for the winter. If the temperature is in the 40's, my running comes indoors.

    Yes, it is true. I am a Buckeye Fan! Go Bucks!! Script OHIO is amazing to watch in person. I am also a Tigers fan. An item on my bucket list is to go to a game in every major league baseball stadium.
