Battle of the Books
This year's Battle of the Books is starting up at Moorsbridge!
This exciting program is open to 4th and 5th graders, who will form teams to read six books.
After meeting weekly, they will answer trivia questions on the books at the School Battle in February and the top two teams will advance to the Grand Battle to compete with other schools in Portage!
Team sign-ups will occur from 9/29-10/20 and parent volunteers are needed to coach the teams.
Check out this link for more info and sign ups!.
Contact Vickie Hoge 269-251-9940 if you have questions.
Arrival/Drop off: A reminder that students should not be dropped off until 8:20am as this is when we'll have adult supervision out front. Breakfast entry is at 8:20 as well. The first bell to enter the building rings at 8:30 and the tardy bell at 8:35. Entry into the main portion of the building locks at 8:35. If the front doors are closed we ask that you come into the office to sign students in if they are tardy in the morning.
Car LOOP & Car LOT Reminders
In helping get students out of the building safely and in a timely manner, please refrain from exiting your vehicle when dropping off/picking up in the car LOOP. If you need to get out of the vehicle, please use the car LOT. This will ensure that cars can continue moving in the loop and there are no accidents (vehicle or pedestrian).

MOORSBRIDGE RESOURCES (just a click away)
ELECTRONIC DEVICES Students are not permitted to use their cell phones during school hours 8:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Cell phones are to be turned off and stored in the student's locker or backpack at all times. We encourage parents to contact the school office to get messages to their students and refrain from texting or calling the student directly. Students who need to call home during school hours are to come to the office and use the school phone. Students who violate this expectation will have their device put in the office where a parent/guardian may pick it up. This expectation goes for smartwatches and any personal electronic device that has communication and recording capabilities.
