We hope you had a wonderful weekend! We are now entering our fourth week of school and we are so proud of how well the students have adjusted to being back to school. Have a great week!
***A reminder that Picture Day is this Wednesday (9/20)***
September Positive Character Trait: Respect
-Consideration for people, places and things
-To value someone or something
-Using manners and being aware of others space and belongings.
Arrival/Drop off: A reminder that students should not be dropped of until 8:20 as this is when we'll have adult supervision out front. The first bell to enter the building rings at 8:30 and the tardy bell at 8:35. Entry into the main portion of the building locks at 8:35. If the front doors are closed we ask that you come into the office to sign students in if they are tardy in the morning.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES Students are not permitted to use their cell phones during school hours 8:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Cell phones are to be turned off and stored in the student's locker or backpack at all times. We encourage parents to contact the school office to get messages to their students and refrain from texting or calling the student directly. Students who need to call home during school hours are to come to the office and use the school phone. Students who violate this expectation will have their device put in the office where a parent/guardian may pick it up. This expectation goes for smartwatches and any personal electronic device that has communication and recording capabilities.
The CIRCLES group discussed a desire for more involvement from our MBE families to share about their households, traditions, cultures, etc. with our students throughout the year. A Google form has been created to try and enlist families to share a bit more!
If you are at all interested in sharing anything, please complete this form so we can reach out to schedule something.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 9th at 7:30am!
Upcoming Dates to be aware of:
September 29th- Half Day dismissal at noon
October 13th- Eagle Run Fundraiser (previously known as Road Rally)
October 27th- No School for Students (Teacher PD Day)
November 13th-17th- Scholastic Book Fair
We've created a Behavior Support Companion Packet to coincide with our Elementary Handbook. This tool is to help show the proactive tools we use at Moorsbridge to support students and families.
