Practice Time
Even though sports, music, arts, and other activities have all been put on hold, that doesn't mean we can't still have our students practicing their skills. Maybe they have always wanted to learn a musical instrument, a skill or a new sport. Now is the time to do that. YouTube is full of great videos to help you and your children learn new skills. Your children may also be missing the social aspects of their activities. Using tools like FaceTime and Google Meets, your child can connect with their teammates virtually and work on their skills "together".
Lights...Camera...Action!
Create a home theatre. Encourage the kids to put on a play or a magic show. They could even use the dress up with clothes and props from around the house. If you have a camera, you can even film it to watch later or for some great memories. Check out other great indoor activities to do at home courtesy of the Save you a Spot website.
