To login to the Online PDR system, visit https://planandreview.port.ac.uk, and select 'Log in with SSO' and enter your standard University username and password when prompted. A link to the system is also available on these PDR Help pages.
On successful login, you will see your 'Me' page. This contains two main sections: My Reviews and My Notes.
During the annual PDR cycle, this will contain a link to your current PDR review form. If you have current roles in different service areas (for example, one academic and one research position) you may see two separate forms listed. If you have more than one position in the same area, you will see a single review form as it is not possible to have simultaneous copies of the same form version. Selecting the relevant review link will open the selected review form.
The View previous reviews link, will list any previous review forms you have on the system. These can be viewed by selecting the relevant link, and will not be available for editing.
Allows you to add notes and attachments which are not linked to a specific annual review. You can choose whether these are private to you, or are shared with your reviewer(s).
You will see a series of additional tabs alongside the Me tab, including some or all of My Linked People, WLP and Actions.
If you have a Reviewer, Commenter, Line Manager (Head of Department) or Monitor (delegated department administrator) role on the system, this will display a list of relevant staff. Individual staff reviews can be accessed via the View Review buttons.
If you are an academic member of staff, you may have a WLP tab, which provides you with access to the Academic Workload Planning system.
Details of any outstanding actions requiring an update or approval.
This will be displayed if you have Reviewer, Line Manager or Monitor access.
This allows you to change any user-configurable system settings.
The Notifications page lists any relevant system events which you should be aware of.
The Support page provides link to these Performance and Development Review help pages, the Academic Workload Planning help pages, and to the Plan And Review self service form to request technical assistance.
When exiting the PDR system, you should always use the Logout link, which ensures your current session is closed securely, and any necessary system housekeeping routines are completed at the end of your session.
