Nearly all of our students agreed that:
• they had the opportunity to better understand some aspects of their course through discussion with the other students and/or the researcher
• their view about how much the University is interested in their opinion and experience changed positively
• they were satisfied with the overall experience of participating in this project.
‘It was good to hear the opinions of other students, as we [didn't] really have too much of a chance to talk to each other this year due to the pandemic. I learned a good bit about the differences in thinking between myself and my fellow classmates, which I find useful.’
‘Yes, this focus [group] is really a great [way] to hear students' view/voice about the University, and this has made me believe that the [XX] University is a great university that not only provides quality teaching, but wants to receive feedback from its students of their thoughts of the teaching. Thank you.’
‘[I appreciated] the chance to see other people’s point of view that I’ve never considered before.’
‘Interesting talking alongside people doing different courses/from different unis’
