EDI Mini-Fest - Awarding Gaps

Session Outline:

This presentation will focus on the essential role of PGM (People of Global Majority) Ambassadors in driving inclusive practices at the University and our contribution to addressing the awarding gap. We will share examples of how we have worked with the Faculty of Technology and the School of Psychology, Sport and Health Sciences, including meeting with current and prospective students, staff, and senior leadership, as well as facilitating student voice meetings and co-creation sessions. The session will also explore how other faculties can partner with PGM Ambassadors to action the strategies outlined in their action plans, fostering a more inclusive academic environment for all.
