You need to run fast to keep up - the use of Sprint methodology to deal with the complex issue of postgraduate international student experience

International students comprise around 30% of UWE’s entire student cohort. As such, they both stretch and contribute to the university resources available to meet their needs.
There is some concern about their engagement and, consequentially, their retention and attainment. How do we maximise the benefits both to the university and to the international students themselves of their decision to study here?
Using key experts at UWE, we undertook a 'Sprint' over 4 days to develop tangible solutions on how might UWE staff be better equipped to support International postgraduate students to engage with the resources, assistance and opportunities available to them during their time at the university.
Sharing an overview of this process, this session will cover techniques, challenges, engagement and how outcomes are being put into action.
