Earlier this year, a successful application was made to the apprenticeship workforce development fund, supported by the Department for Education. The proposal was driven by apprentice feedback that there are inconsistencies in the understanding of the requirements and expectations placed on apprentices within those involved in delivering apprenticeships. This has provided the opportunity to pilot a centralised space that offers asynchronous learning that has been grouped into three key themes. It is hoped that this space continues to evolve while providing all those in the institution involved in the delivery of degree apprenticeships a point of access to the latest information, advice and guidance underpinned by a deeper comprehension of the apprentice experience.
Key points you will cover during your session:
A deeper exploration of the feedback that generated the project - linking to apprentice engagement.
A site tour summarising the thought processes behind the creation of the site.
Future plans for the development of the site.
Expected short and long-term benefits
Practical applications or takeaways for the audience:
Quick wins to support apprentice engagement.
Early access to the site if requested
The opportunity to feedback and shape the future provision of support available to those delivering on degree apprenticeships.
