About the event:
As one of four strategic imperatives, prioritising graduate employability within our courses and wider student experience remains a priority for Portsmouth, as well as for the wider sector. To help us meet this imperative, the Careers and Employability Service in collaboration with Academic Development are organising an in-person Employability Conference on the afternoon of Wednesday 13th September 2023. The event is open to all University of Portsmouth staff, where we particularly welcome Course Leaders, Heads of Schools, Students’ Union colleagues, and any roles who support student learning such as Student Services, Learning Developers and Student Engagement Officers.
What to expect:
Sessions include short talks of examples of best practice in embedding employability into the curriculum, Faculty focused sessions, and updates on strategic developments such as Graduate Outcomes analysis and the launch of the new Portsmouth Award.
