In academic year 2021-2022, all of the Degree Apprenticeship programmes offered in BaL except the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship were managed by one individual, the Course Leader. At that time, it had been recommended by the workload allowance working group that all courses be managed by a team. It was expected that a course leadership team would positively impact both staff and student experience and assist with succession planning for the subject group/department. This presentation therefore discusses this situation and the Course Leadership Team that has been recommended to meet these needs and may be a useful guide for other teams.
