This session will present findings from three years of qualitative research into the experiences of Level 7 Degree Apprentices at Portsmouth, studying the Academic Professional Apprenticeship and Senior Leader in Educational Leadership And Management-MSc. This session will be useful for anyone involved degree apprenticeship provision, as we will focus on ways in which apprentices balance their studies and off the job training with their professional and personal lives as well as exploring some of the structural challenges of apprenticeship management.
The aims of the session are to:
Share outcomes of research into two different cohorts of Level 7 apprentices
Suggest strategies to overcome common challenges found in apprenticeship management
Consider ways to research and evaluate the experiences of apprentices
