Summary of the Services Provided by ASDAC (Additional Support and Disability Advice Centre)

This session will offer a summary of the services provided by ASDAC (Additional Support and Disability Advice Centre).

We will provide suggestions to help you anticipate the needs of disabled students you may or may not be aware of.

This session aims to: 

• Give participants a sound understanding of the services offered by ASDAC and ways students can now access support.

• To understand how reasonable adjustment information is now shared with staff through SITS.

• To identify ways we can anticipate and implement support for Disabled students through course design and delivery.

There will be an opportunity to hear about the work of a Specialist Study Tutor and Disability Officer.

There will be an opportunity to submit questions for the ASDAC team to answer.
